Volunteer Opportunities
Bringing joy to the lives of seniors. Experiencing daily fun and hearing remarkable stories. Working alongside friendly and welcoming staff who appreciate you. Looking forward to your next visit—and having residents looking forward to seeing you again, too. These are just a few of the many reasons people choose to volunteer at a Chartwell retirement community, where every moment of your time is valued and you can achieve the sense of purpose you may be looking for.
So, what does volunteering at a Chartwell seniors’ home look like? You may find yourself:
- Spending quality one-on-one time with residents.
- Escorting residents on fun outings.
- Using your skill set to create and run your own program.
- Helping with special events, game nights, clubs, creative and fitness classes, committees, etc.
- Participating in rewarding intergenerational programs.
- Helping and collaborating with staff from various departments.
- Doing pastoral care visits or providing spiritual services.
- And many more possibilities based on your interests and skills.
If you have a positive, empathetic, or energetic personality, we would love to have you join the Chartwell family as a valued volunteer. Minors under the age of 16 are also welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
